What is Systema?
Systema is a non-competitive self defense, health and fitness system. It is easy to learn, non-destructive and
taught in a friendly learning-centered environement.
Systema is a truely a martial art that anyone can practice, even if you're an absolute beginner
with no previous experience or a seasoned martial artist with years of training.
Practicing Systema is guaranteed to improve your ability to defend yourself or your loved ones,
improve your health, flexibility and overall fitness. You'll gain true self-confidence and will become a strong,
fearless and productive member of your family and community.
"The System" relies on natural body movements, universal principles and adapting one's inherent
qualities to any self-defense situation.

Examples of Systema Training
Hand to Hand Combat
Learn unique ways to develop endurance, sensitivity, striking power, unique use of the body for
defense and attack, and total control of any empty-hand attack with emphasis on breathing,
continuity, economy of motion, and unpredictable movement.
Ground Fighting
Discover unique strategies to overcome any conceivable attack from all angles and positions,
defeat multiple attackers and disarm weapons - all from the ground.
Learn how to fight from the ground in simulated attacks while you're unarmed against one, two
and three opponents who try to grab, choke, kick and punch you, stab or cut you with knives,
immobilize your limbs, mount you and then try to shoot you in the head.
Systema Breathing
Learn new and challenging breathing exercises that help promote overall health, strength and
flexbility. Breathwork is part of everything we do in Systema including warming up, learning a new
movement, and performing drills.
Systema Strength & Flexibility
Learn safe and interesting exercises that expands your natural range of motion, increases joint
mobility, and promotes elastic-like flexibility.
